Ex Eel Lussick has knocked out Justing Hodges in the first round of his first pro fight tonight in Sydney.
39 seconds in Hodges left his guard open and Darcy hit him with a quality right to the chin that dropped him into laa laa land and had him eating the canvas.
Loved seeing this smart ass inbred clown get knocked out, was his 3rd fight, he had won his first two.

You have to stop seeing it as professional boxing. It’s not the same, it’s really just a celebrity smash match... but it’s still a spectacle people pay to see. Unfortunately that’s worth more than ‘real’ boxing at the moment. It’s sad, but the truth.
If I was Lussick I wouldn't be getting carried away with decking Hodges as he is not the first ex-Eel to do so. Just the other day, on YouTube, I saw vision of an old game when Hodges was playing for Easts and Casey Maguire was at the Broncos. Maguire hit one of the Roosters a bit high and Hodges got himself involved, as he always did, ooverreacting by dragging and scuffling with Maguire who didn't appreciate it. Casey, not intimidated at all, got loose of his grip and put one on Hodges' chin who immediately dropped to his knees. He didn't spring to his feet and retaliate either.
Hodges was a major grub during his playing days who I don't mind as a co-commentator now even though he is biased towards Qld and Brisbane. Still happy to see this happen to him. Imagine how much Lussick would be digging this situation. He always preferred getting involved in a blue to the disipline of making the hard yards for his team.
Hodges is hands down the worst commentator I have ever heard. There’s a dozen indigenous footy players that could do a better job at analysing the game. He just manages to speak at the same pace of every other Queenslander.
