Daniel Mortimer interview:
In an interview with fox sports Daniel Mortimer has admitted that he did feel the heat of his second season in the Nrl well his first full season anyway. Mortimer said he has learned alot from the 2010 season more so than he did in 2009 he said it seemed like the big boys were really out to get him in 2010. Mortimer also said that Steve Kearney had him working really hard on his kicking and passing games and they are coming along nicely. When asked if would want to play Halfback or Five Eighth he said he doesnt mind but then said Five Eighth for now because he had success in that position 2009 although Mortimer said when his game develops he would like to be a Halfback further down the track. When asked about the future of Timana Tahu at the club Mortimer said that obliviously we are all in support of Timana and hope he can join us for the 2011 season. When asked about if Inglis could end up at parra Mortimer added it would be a great Christmas present and i love to have him here cant wait to rip into round one.
Ben Smith interview:
In an interview with fox sports Ben Smith has said that if Timana Tahu were to leave the Eels that he would be more than happy to return to playing in the centers but admitted that he would need to shed some weight and become faster to excel in the center position. Smith said that he really couldn’t be fussed what position he played as long as he was in the team after all there are contenders for Smith current position Shane Shackleton was mentioned Smith said that this club could be the fitest Eels club ever cant wait to rip into round one Smith added.
I personally cant wait for round 1 and think its a great sign that Steve Kearney is getting Daniel Mortimer to work on his passing and kicking games.

to muttman i like ta get on this site to read positive things about our great club nd every time something gets posted positive about us there is some one like you that has ther smart arse coment.as many peaple have said b4 me on this site if u have nothing positive ta say dont say any thing at all.GO PARRA 2011.
Muttman is one of the most respected and intellectual people on this site.Criticism comes in 2 sorts, positive and negative, you cant have one without the other.
So how about you dry your eyes princess and back the fuck away, and actually read what Muttman has enlightened us with and then you might understand that all he is stating is the bleeding obvious.

Uhhh matt...eel man's whole complaint seems to be with people sprouting anything but positive comments. How can you then come out with 'say what you like'.
While i respect his optimism, i really think he needs to wake up to himself. If he doesn't like reading negative comments, then that's his problem not the forums.We can't all be full of sunshine, lollipops and rainbows. Muttman raised an incredibly valid point, we hear the same thing every pre-season.
I would ask George however, to be a little 'friendlier' towards other members. Admittedly GT, i love reading some of your posts towards the low-lifes on this forum, i say keep em coming. But you were a tad aggressive towards eel man, and i think he followes suit.
Its site of free speech people can say what they like i dont care unless there not having go at me.
