"Every Parra fan would be ecstatic with this news !!! I was iffy initially with the signing but the fox has totally bought into the club and shown more passion for the jumper in a season than many long term players imo 💛💙💛💙"
"Hey mate I don't think I've gathered your opinion on Lincoln? Sometimes I think we overlook that we have the schoolboys 7 here. In your opinion was he deserving of that appointment? Or was it more there wasn't much competition for the jersey?

I guess it is easy to criticise him when you don't understand his job. Having said that his form has been a bit down this year as has his minutes at time so I am thinking that maybe he has some minor injury. I thought that the complementary prop was going to be Terepo unfortunately he picked up a serious injury. Would be good to see Vave start with him tonight.
Thought Alvaro was sensational last week.
Enter Willis Meehan and Kane Evans
Alvaro was awesome against the bunnies. Over 150m gained and he only played 44mins and i think he had over 25 tackles
Third half : I agree with the pro Alvaro sentiments. He could soon be a permanent starting prop. It is only a few short weeks ago that several on this site wanted DA gone!! If they could not see the potential in DA they could not have been looking. I thought that Rory Obrien also showed something last year as a prop. I understand that he has been injured quiet a bit this year.
Alvaro is developing nicely, good strong young kid who stays out of trouble and lives and breathes footy. I hope the club keep him long term, every pack needs their workhorses and Daniel fits the bill perfectly.
Last year Alvaro was being put down as a nothing player, a pale imitation of Mannah, too small though and a liability, can't have them on at the same time, and the list went on.
At the time our main starting props were Mannah and Wicks, with Gower playing a lot off the bench along with Alvaro. I made a comment at the time, after Alvaro was given a few runs that I saw him and Twal as being our future run on props as most of the current lot were getting to the vintage age, Wicks has gone, (miss him to a fair degree but Alvaro has stepped up) Mannah was signed again which I think is possibly for too many years though.
The arrival of Matagi and Vava, has plugged the holes left by Wicks, & Alvaro has stepped up to become, a player that will be one of the first picked on the bench.
Twal, I was sorry to see him leave, but he's likely to get more chance to play NRL at the tigers than with the eels, owing to the signings for this year. I believe the signing of Evans likely was done as a result of losing Twal, who I think would be a better player but is most likely on a deal that BA was not prepared to pay for him at this point of his career.
So, I got a 50/50 in that prediction, at least with the eels, Twal may find it hard to get into the top tigers squad with Matulino and Packer signed but I would think he will be a bench player at least for them.
I would keep him as a lock type role; as he is not huge for prop; and he is mobile enough.
