I can't wait to see what he does after having a couple of games in first grade, depending on what type of style we go with he mightn't make the top 17 though.
Alvaro could be a player who breaks out the game with 10 minutes to go in each half. But thats my opinion.
All depends what sort of bench we go with, we haven't even played the trials yet so we don't even have the faintest idea what the thinking will be come Round 1.
One thing's almost certain though is that your last comment won't come to fruition. The last 10 minutes of each half? That's 3 interchanges you'd be making right there, if a player starts on the bench more than likely they'll only have 1 stint during the middle period of the game.
Go big kid!
Cue Poppa to come on and now say that this is a good idea purely because you've said that you're thinking outside of the box.
Using him at the end of each half meaning that you'd be taking him off at some stage during the second half to bring him back on for the last 10 minutes or would you be expecting him to play for 50 minutes and expecting a big impact from him in the final 10 minutes of the match?
If Daniel is on the bench in first grade I think that he'd be the perfect player to close out a match. He's very strong in defence and backs up the ball carrier well so the defence when tired has to make more decisions. I'm not sure how the interchanges will work 100% but if you could work it so that you have Mannah, Alvaro, and Choc on the field to end a match we'll be strong defensively.
