Dally M's - The Near Enough Awards

The Dally M's don't truly mean a thing because it's not scored correctly. The only way they can get it right is for every player on the field to get a score, 1 to 17. I have seen so many games where a player on the loosing side has busted his arse & gets no points, How is this even fair. The current system can't be accurate because there are 31 player's every game not acquiring point's for their efforts. The winning score was 26 points this year meaning 8 or 9 really good games out of 24 & you can win it.

  • Or is just proves it's a hard award to win. So much competition for it that the points are low. Wouldn't work giving out 17 players some points each. Normally the man of the match which is 3 points is on the winning side. I've seen plenty of players from the losing team take home the 2 or 1 point.

"Da Silva is a potentially elite dummy half. He would already be on very good money, probably $600k+ and will eventually be taking the majority of minutes at dummy half. Perhaps as early as 2026. Smith might start every game but could end up only…"
