  Gus the Goose is a great strategist but he can't pick a winning team to save his fat arse. What he can't see is Parra's big heart which is what got us to the GF. When he was ignoring Parra's brilliant effort against the Dragons and saying 'St George are sharpening the axe' I thought I'd never heard a commentator be so wrong.
  
  Sterlo did more for Parra than every fan who ever existed & IMHO he's above criticism.
  
  Laurie Daley is a good bloke but if he can't see how good this team is he's not as smart as he thinks he is.
  I hope all the media experts keep bagging Parra 'cause it will be even sweeter when they're standing on the dias to collect their Grand Finalists medals.

  To matt sweeney,
  I grew up watching and trying to be sterlo like everyone ,to date i still believe he is the eels best ever halfback and his mind brilliance in the game was perfect, he was brilliant
  
  however , when he moved to the coast it was all about joey the panzie johns with his fairy kicks ,and even though he was an eel critisized them non stop for many seasons and would never pick them to win , Yes i have a pair of his boots signed but the man did do wrong in going for newcastle every time we played them .
  I am a true blood and bone eel , in fact was being selected years ago b4 i had an accident so yes i am an eel .
  I understand when people dont agree and thats fine all i can say is
