I really do hope that Daley never picks Luke Brooks for NSW. Brooks is too small, too weak and frankly not really that good a player. He will need to toughen up a bit and mature a hell of a lot before i would pick him for the blues.
Everyone else on the squad makes sense though .
Can't see it happening. I have no doubt he will be picked for NSW but i can't see him being the best halfback. Brooks just seems like a younger version of Marshall.
I'd say he will be like Sandow. Good player but not consistent enough to do any real damage.
Brooks at his best is no better then the average halfback in the league. But when he doesn't play his best he is absolutely dreadful. When things don't go his way he is like a five year old throwing a tantrum and i don't think that Taylor can get the best out of him.
Only thing Brookes is good at is diving and cheating. Just ask David Gower. Oh and 50,000 other people who saw him take a dive bar some moron in the video ref box.
Brookes just looked good cause he was playing in a really poor team.
That really poor team beat us last Easter Monday, ref's help or not.
Agree 100% Mitchy, we were very lucky to win. Halves average at best & Bird & Gallen tried to be heroes & hogged the ball too much. How NSW won is beyond my comprehension.
I like it when things bode well for Parra.
