  • I really do hope that Daley never picks Luke Brooks for NSW. Brooks is too small, too weak and frankly not really that good a player. He will need to toughen up a bit and mature a hell of a lot before i would pick him for the blues.

Everyone else on the squad makes sense though .

    • Are you kidding? He is gunna be massive ! Remember it's hes first year and he's only 18 or 19. To be that young in your first year and have to be a dominate player with all the other senior players the tiger have would be pretty intimidating. Give him 3-4 years he will be the best halfback running around.
    • A lot of that is he is young and stupid but there is no doubt in my mind he has the talent. A lot of halfbacks don't find there feet in the nrl until they are in their early to mid 20s and mature a little. In saying that I think playing under taylor will will stunt he's development. But I think if you put brooks in a team like the rabbits who already have a very talented team with a good halfback he would of had a better year. The Tigers relied on him to much and didn't have the team to help hkm
  • Can't see it happening. I have no doubt he will be picked for NSW but i can't see him being the best halfback. Brooks just seems like a younger version of Marshall.

I'd say he will be like Sandow. Good player but not consistent enough to do any real damage.

Brooks at his best is no better then the average halfback in the league. But when he doesn't play his best he is absolutely dreadful. When things don't go his way he is like a five year old throwing a tantrum and i don't think that Taylor can get the best out of him.

  • Only thing Brookes is good at is diving and cheating. Just ask David Gower. Oh and 50,000 other people who saw him take a dive bar some moron in the video ref box.

Brookes just looked good cause he was playing in a really poor team.

  • All reasonable choices, but how did that plonker Curtis Sironen get picked, must be mates rates. He would not make our run on 17
  • The squad is ok. I just don't think our team will be better or that much better next year. I honestly think our team was lucky to win origin this year, but don't get me wrong I was stoked with the effort. Think our halves may not be there again next year, and there is another dilemma with changes etc. klemmer is good
    • Agree 100% Mitchy, we were very lucky to win. Halves average at best & Bird & Gallen tried to be heroes & hogged the ball too much. How NSW won is beyond my comprehension.

  • I like it when things bode well for Parra.
