Good point EA I think he has shown Moses not to always overplay his hand. I don't think Moses needs that kind of help anymore he was brilliant in big games for us this year.
NRL news: Andrew Johns set to quit Parramatta Eels and join Newcastle Knights coaching staff
The rugby league great, who helped turn Parramatta No.7 Mitchell Moses into one of the NRL’s best halfbacks, has been considering the offer for several weeks.
Rugby league immortal Andrew Johns is on the verge of quitting the Parramatta Eels to return home to the Newcastle Knights to help solve the club’s halfback crisis.
The Daily Telegraph can reveal Johns is poised to join the Knights as an assistant coach and will throw most of his time at mentoring the halves.
It follows the decision by veteran halfback Mitchell Pearce to walk out on the final years of his contract to play for French club Catalans in the UK Super League
This is a huge blow for the Eels because Johns has played a significant role in helping turn Mitchell Moses from a good halfback to a great one in the last 12 months as Parramatta’s specialist halves coach.
Johns has been considering the offer from Newcastle for a number of weeks.
He will replace former Broncos and South Sydney coach Anthony Seibold on Adam O’Brien’s coaching staff and begin work next month.
With Pearce leaving, the Knights will be heavily relying on Johns to work with Jake Clifford, who signed from the Cowboys last season, and Adam Clune who recently left St George-Illawarra after 25 NRL games.
Johns is Newcastle’s all-time greatest player who played 249 games for the club and won two premierships.
He will spend two days each week with the Knights and continue in his media role with Channel 9 on the network’s rugby league coverage.
"Warriors — highest completions, lowest error count in the comp.
Us — Polar opposite, overall. 4th worst for completions. 4th worst for errors and ball handling. It's cost us in the grind, and a few wins.

"Yep, they won 10 / 13 to start the season. Were Second. Since then, they've struggled won 4 / 9. Clinging on to fourth but vulnerable.
Losing Metcalf/ Barnett seems to have hit. They were also a better team with Walker even if Erin Clark has…"
"I remember us doing the same about 2020-21 ish against the panthers leading into the finals also.As we had the panthers first up I think it was that 8-4 game where the trainer came on the field and stopped the game while we hot on attack late in the…"
"Just show me low errors and high completion and we'll be in with a shot.
Warriors have no halves to speak of that's all there looking for is much the same as us.
Which ever team wins the battle in the initial sentence goes a long way to winning this…"

Hasn't done that much not a huge loss
I think Joey has had a major influences on Moses' game. However I don't think he has done much to Dylan's game.

The Eel`s loss is the Knight's loss.
Get Cronk!!!!!
Absolutely!!!
Cronk already coaches with Storm and Roosters, and with his FOX gig he wouldn't have the time anyways.
What about asking Sterlo to take on the role for a year or two?
Get Sandow
Lol
