    Well the thing is people need to be willing to take those people. No one might be willing to take Folau at a price that would be worth us letting him go for, but someone might be willing to pay all of Paulo's contract.

  Somebody has got to want to sign a player before we can release them ... No one wants Folau right now so that is not even an option.

  Paulo has signed for 17 and they want him for 16. Will just depend how much the eels have to 'kick in' as to whether we release him early

    Thats an assumption EB. Unless you have a copy of the contract on hand you are just throwing your 2 bits of information. Good luck to him if he signed on for 2017 but lets be clear on this matter he has a contract with the eels for 2016. You dont just strengthen the other teams because you are short 100k. You find 100k out of those wenty players who wont even get a look in top grade this year.

    Thats how you do business love him or hate him you dont let Paulo go to the Raiders.

    If BA and DA say Paulo is worth $300k a year, and Ricky wants to give him $400k and Paulo just wants to chase the money there is nothing we can do.
    We don't just pay him more because another team has offered more. We valued him at what we thought was fair. We shouldn't move from that.

    Don't the Tits need a centre, winger, fb, half or a forward? I'm sure Folau would probably fit one of those positions. Injcidently he would have to be in top 25 to affect our cap.
