Old news now but surely this just shows how much of a role Murdoch's men played in bringing Todd down. Not only did they control the narrative to brain wash gullible, simple minded people but they were relentless and kicked the poor man once they brought him down. Ultimate dog act.
Surely even those who hated on Todd can see how fucked up this?

"Murdoch paranoia" is a delusion leftist cling to because their entire narrative needs an evil villain they are courageously fighting against.
Rupert Murdoch and any employee of businesses of which he has a controlling shareholding, had as much to do with Greeenberg's demise as I did.
Vlandys was the singular reason for Greenberg's demise. A no-nonsense Chairman with no time for corporate games or political shenanigans who saw right through the former CEO and his grandstanding ways.
Are you saying that News Corp provide an unbiased narrative with their news?
No. I'm merely saying Rupert Murdoch isn't in his lair pulling all the strings and forcing his minions to write what he wants. Journos at News Corp tend to be of a centre right political stripe. Just as the ABC, SMH, Guardian, Buzzfeed etc tend to be exclusively Left.
I think anyone would be incredibly naive to think the Murdoch empire isn't trying to control the NRL narrative. Everything their reporters write has a direct correlation with their broadcasters which in turn effects NRL headoffice. The last few weeks have been the perfect example.
I agree Mutt.
There was a US start up called Theranos which was once valued at 9 billion US Dollars. One of Murdoch's investigative reporters at, I think, The wall Street Journal, uncovered the sham of it all and let them know he was going to print. The CEO of Theranos contacted Rupert direct and asked that the story be pulled. Murdoch replied (and this is on the record) "I trust my journo's integrity and am confident the truth will be reported, whatever that may be".
The thing is, Rupert had himself invested 130 million USD in Theranos and at that point his investment was potentially worth billions. He lost the lot.
That's not exactly Dr. Evil in his evil liar directing his minions to pull strings is it :) His papers etc are conservative leaning - so what - every editorial medium is slanted one way or the other.
What exactly is the Murdoch & Channel Nine connection? After all, it's Nine that have supposedly presided over the downfall of Todd.
An uncomprimising photo of a public figure through a house window is hardly earth shattering stuff. It's not like he's having a flog or blowing a line.
So photographing a man in the privacy of his own home after one of the hardest day in his career like sick voyeuristic fucks is okay?
Prof Daz has that shit going on in his house every day when he gets home at his cuckold parties, do you hear him complain?
Pics or it didn't happen.
LOL. Snake, your implication I "get home" implies I leave, so for reminding me there will be such a time, I thank you for giving me hope. Cheers!
Why are you so invested in this EAM? Are you related to Greenburg?
Hell, I look like Todd Greenberg and couldn't give a shit!
The way you're carrying on, you'd think he was sold into slavery!
He clealy mismanaged NRL funds, had lost the confidence of the clubs, pissed off the Chairman during a time when political charades just won't cut it and he's left the game with a $650k payout and already fielding job offers!!
Fair dinkum! I think the bloke is okay!
