  • He is an out and out 5/8.

Anyone with half a brain could see that he isn't a halbacks asshole and never will be.

Only BA (and some muppets on here) thinks Brown will make a quality halfback. Lol

    • everyone seems to think he's a half or 5/8. All he has is a good running game. I would argue he's more of a centre with his limited skills set.

      • He is a fantastic running 5/8 and that's his best position.

That's why he plays that position for the Kiwi's.

  • How do you know his game ain't unlocked and this is him at his ceiling ?  Hes just one of those kids that'll never be constantly good. Just another Ben Roberts type that you'll see something every now and then that makes you go wow !  Rest of the time you're just sitting waiting for that time to come again.  It's just his worst ain't anything as bad as Roberts.

And it's that's depressing , just remember, this board and recruitment team OR the coach that's been sacked ( if you're one of the people that think the coach is also the recruitment guy ) , whichever way you want to look at it , an incompetent club representative , signed him for a decade with the options all in his favour . So he will have this club totally bent over a barrel for a decade.

People argued this was a brilliant signing , well I guess these certain people must feel that our board and R&R team are doing a great job.

  • He is too focused on looking at himself in the cameras.

  • Pretty harsh when his useless team competes  at 2/5 in the first 10 mins. He can't do much when his team can't hold the fucking ball.

Blaize can't catch either which doesn't help.

    • When Thurston was surrounded by shit players he still showed brilliance. If he was a standout star when he touched the ball , I'd concede you had a point, but he ain't, he's just usually the best player in a team of nufffies. It's now as obvious as ever that Moses makes him look far better than he is.

again, everyone's whining about how incompetent our office is, and yet many will argue till their blue in the face that they made a great move in offering him a ludicrous deal. A handful of us " haters " called out our recruitment strategy back when the Gutherson saga was penned. And the mega contracts just kept coming.

      • here here

      • Yep Brown,s contract is a joke. I still don't rate him as a 5/8. His not shit but would be a better centre with his defence and will beat a lot of defenders one on one. Put a fast winger outside him.

  • Didn't help that he started with Talagi at 6, then Asi, then Sanders, then back to Asi.

In 8 games has had 4 different combinations. That doesn't help him. Not excusing him as he should be fine on his own but if you are hell bent on him being a 7 at least keep a 6 for a combination.
