Right, so i thought he was a goner regardless of if the court date is tomorrow, next month or next year. Not sure why this is news, other than saying what his court date is but hey Parramatta sell papers.
August is his court date and innocent until proven guilty but i do not see it likely that he gets out of this with minimum a stand down from the NRL.

It's disgusting that the NRL and the players association will treat a player like this . The fact he's endured having to go through the courts to prove he was the victim of corrupt police charges and it's still not mentioned or taken on board that to date he's legally done nothing worse than half of the players in the NRL is rubbish. This kids been treated very unfairly when you evaluate the situation compared to other current players in the game.

Wiz i would normally have no sympathy, but dodgy cop stuff is fucked, and as far as i can tell he has been a victim of vindictave police attempting to frame him before. Asshole cops van be v.sneaky and have long memory
The NRL is treating him in accordance with their no fault stand down policy. And as already established by the judicial system, the NRL can do this.
This system was brought in because the treatment of players who were charged with crimes was too haphazard.
He's been charged with some serious offences. The NRL has every right not to register him until the case is resolved.
I don't see how the previous unlawful treatment by police of Scott is relevant here. He's being charged for a completely different crime, investigated by a completely different unit.
The police things relevant , Super as people keep harping on about the guys " form" and bad record. But as it stands he has one convicted offence to his name. An offence which came after the false accusation by the police whilst he was fighting to clear his name . The first offence we can only imagine how much strain it put on his life.
Now we have the same Police force charging him , so what if it's a different unit , do you not know the history of NSW Police ? Possibly one of the most corrupt history's in the history of 1st world countries. In modern times anyway. And it ain't just history , it's very current till this very day. It's very relevant as that was the event that kicked off the chain of events and the NRL has a duty to take it into account. This kids copped a fucking hard trot when the media and commentators keep harping on about his poor history prior to these charges when he litterally has a single bar fight to his name. He's just the wrong colour , Ben Barba , and the very very very long list of indigenous players who've had multiple charges against them never cop what this dudes copped.

I reckon they watch to much telly and think that when cops invent charges that it was because the bad guy was gonna get away with a crimes. The reality is corrupt cops stitched him up, and his lawyer picked their stitches. The evil cunts reeeally hate this. Lodge should never have been allowed back. But it's a new administration now and new rules. You can't judge the Scott case on the Lodge case.
Super, sorry mate but i can and there's been more. That's the point if the NRL had simple bloody rules it would not matter if Greenburg or Annesley was in charge, players would know the outcome.
Scott deserves his day in court - and we all have no idea, my point being he should be regarded as innocent until proven.
