Has anyone else heard that we may be considering Scott for a 'bargain' contract? Could be linked to the rumour post that said Parra are after a Raider?

JA was playing very average and Jordan Rakin controlled EVERYTHING.
He was parachuted into the top 30, he was parachuted into first grade & parachuted into getting a 2022 contract before he even played against the Warriors.
He would not get a start at any other club.
I am prepared to say except for the last game against Penrith if MM is rested or his father stays on in 2022 he will never play 1st grade again.

If MM gets rested they need to either go with Will Smith (at 6 or 7) or Carty (at 6).
I still can't believe that JA was put into the side ahead of these two. I can't see any rational justification for it, no form line, nothing.
Will Smith is one of the best utilties going around yet he was aparantly less credentialled than a struggling debutant? It was like a (bad) dream.
... and bad timing too mate. BA might be blinded to it, but I really think his selection caused much unrest in the squad & started this rot.
We only needed 1 win in the last 2 games he played and that would have made a world of differnce in both ladder postion and confidence.
In 8 years he always picks and sticks & has played favourites with the experienced guys.
This is the only occasion I have seen him abandom this policy.
I would play Will in the halves and start Cartwright for the next 2 weeks in the backrow. He needs game time, too much pressure to get 20 minutes each week and usually at a time when we are behind.
Hard to make the pressure clutch play to win a game, when you have had no recent game time.

Agree, I reckon Carty can be integral in the semis but we need to get him into the rythm of things. He's getting single digit minutes which simply isn't enough.... I'd deff have him starting this weekend - give him at least 60 minutes.
"Ryles is mountain-first, badge-first. Perhaps a reason he may "seem unfazed" losing players who want or need to go for dosh. Sensible really.
But losing Lomax would be a body blow. He's our Payne Haas-Xavier Coates hybrid. Our yardage tank. Lion…"
"You heard all the whining about how NATO should have shot down the Ruzzian jets involved in an air incursion into Estonia? This story itotally lines up with modern Nato air tactics but it is the first time that the enemy has actually been exposed to…"

Two first names, I don't like it. We don't have a great success rate with dual first names. Brett Kenny was a unicorn .
And neither does Shawn...
Someone had to say it ;-)
😂
Luke Burt went alright for a while mate, played probably 2 seasons to long though
I thought his first 2 seasons were nearly as bad as JA.
Picked out of Brian Smith's bias. Luke should have played another year or 2 in Reggies.
Wrong Brissy.

I heard a rumour that Carty loves a single digit, and sometimes on special occasions he likes two.
