Current Parra juniors playing for other clubs in NRL

Hi all, new to posting blogs but have been reading this site for quite a while. I have also been a die hard parra fan for the best part of 34 years. Anyway, since parra put so much into their juniors ie development etc, my question is what first graders are currently playing for other teams that are parra juniors.

inu, mateo & KK will be
  • Willie Tonga, Jamie Lyon, Andrew Ryan, Gallen, Wade McKinnon, Blake Green, Zeb Tia, Jason Cayless

A side note, here is a list of all the people to play for the Eels http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Parramatta_Eels_players
  • Pretty sure McKinnon came from the Bunnies
  • Yeah McKinnon was a South's Junior
  • Isn't St. Clair apart of the Panthers juniors?
  • I agree Slippery Eels true juniors are ones that are in the system / junior teams prior to Under 16s and 18s.

This would exclude Lyon, Maloney, Wright, Tonga and Ryan.

This would be the same as the Roosters classifying all these under age players as local juniors despite the vast majority of them being recruited from the bush.

The list above hails from Wee Waa, Orange, Central Coast, Murgon and Dubbo.
  • Exactly, same as Melbourne claiming Slater and Ingliss as juniors.
  • I would take it as players who were graded through us, such as Burt was from red cliffe in newcastle but didn't get a run till he came to Parra and I would call him a Eels junior
  • Maloney came from Norths
    Cordoba from Illawarra
    Jonathan Wright from Knights

"This is the way to go, you want them all to have the best opportunity to swim rather than sink. Too many young players are rushed into first grade and end up not reaching their full potential or even falling by the wayside. "
