I think I can speak for a large portion of us when I say that mid-June cannot find its way here soon enough. We can expect that until that time comes, we will continue to be bombarded by negative Journalism, reporting on this that we not only already know, but by presenting evidence that the NRL would have had (By assumption) this entire time. Now, when looking at it objectively, the media had nothing but perfect timing in their execution of the most recent reports and evidence around Jarryd Hayne's announcement of retirement from the NFL. This can lead us down a couple tracks, either the NRL are providing the media with each different part of evidence when it deems there is the possibility is can overshadow a positive, or, the Media have had everything for a long period of time and have simply chosen to release it as counterpoints.
I personally am leading down the latter.
Come mid-June, we'll have our final punishment handed down, we'll know once and for all what we have done wrong and will be punished appropriately(*). We will more than likely experience another week or so of bad publicity via the media whom will rehash the same punishment and material from the final hand down, speak with Cameron "Good Guy" Smith again about how he feels the situation was handed correctly, and Nathan "Bad Guy" Hindmarsh about how Parramatta shouldn't be playing for points. All before what we can only hope we will see a downward drop of content.
But let's all face it, even after the final announcement has been named, the in house faction wars and consistent ill decision made by who is left on the board (Not giving Bevan Paul a year, or even called Gurr) will continue to spark the Media's interest, because it allows them to feed the festering hate for the club that they have managed to develop over the past 6months. Creating a full circle story, and I use the word 'story' quite literally due to the abundance of false perpetuated reporting that has gone on over this period. Zero reporting on the fact that Parramatta were in fact compliant at years start, and in fact the 570k was from the NRL's doing. (The ABC has been excluded from this, they seem to be the only consistently unbiased form of media.)
So what can we do? Nothing. But sit back and continue to watch as more evidence is streamed into the media. We can complain as much as we like, but the Media is ruthless, and under Parramatta are a cold empty husk, they won't be stopping, even after the final judgement.
...unless Kate McClymont would hurry up and reveal what clubs are using bag men...
..oh who am I kidding, that will get one day of coverage and then go straight back to Parra..

Yep, there is no way the media will be slowing down. They'll drip feed us the rest of the preliminary breach notice one part at a time.
Here's an image of one :)
