Ok over it

I'm 49 I was in my 20s in the heyday . I partied with the first grade NRL players and cricketers in the noughties - they had bloody ego no doubt BUT it was not fed by the social media bs of today

the clubs should rail against this crap instead of FEEDING it - aka the bs " in da house " crap before a game

all it does is tell the players they are these Insta social faves instead of telling them THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL BLOODY ATHLETES

my child plays rugby and they don't have this fucking bullshit

it's not helpful

stop this fuckwittery

otherwise I'm going to rah rah

  • Have a vodka or scotch, I am having a 12 year old single malt and watching Uzi push to 200, forgetting about the fucking Eels.

edit* argh fuck no! Uzi out 180!

  • Every club does it Carlo nowadays. Our problem is the players we have let go in order to try and sign Moses.

We badly Miss little Judas' defence, Nioukure punch up the middle ad Papilini on the edges... but funnily enough I think it is Opaic that we miss most in the centres!

    • I've watched a bit of footy the last two weeks and right now I won't be slitting my wrists if Moses leaves . Obviously it's great if he stays , but I think the halfback drought isn't as dire as they'd have you believe .  There's a few clubs playing , not 1.3 million dollar halfbacks that are doing just fine. We could use some of those funds to strengthen other positions. We need Lane to return to win us game like tonight.  I think Lane and Hopgod will make up for our halves lack of creativity.

      • Trindall for Cronulla - a baby playing above his weight on minimum coin to boot.

      • Somewhat in agreement Wiz.

To some Mitch would have looked good tonigh but his two major impacts.... , a backup try and one from throwing a dummy when positioned at outside centre make you wonder where he was for the rest of the game. Im beginning to think we also need to find a specialist goal kicker as Moses isn't in that category .. it costs dearly in close games.

  • Same here Carlo.

I still remember watching Parra win the 86 GF and thinking how good is this and can't wait for more.

All I think now is 37 years of disappointment and no end in sight.

  • Im getting stuck into the rum - there are too many spoilt little sooking brats Carlo.
