I thought Steve Sharp presented himself well tonight. I have never supported the pro Sharp lobby on this site and I have been critical of this latest schmossel. But he spoke well and answered some tough questions satisfactorily. I don`t know if he has been on TV before but he did not seem nervous. Sterling missed out on one point I thought. Steve Sharp said that the existence of the toxic clause was detected and the Eels contacted the NRL about it. Where as all the media have been alleging that the NRL detected the toxic clause and contacted the Eels about it. Which version is the true version? I am not a supporter of SS but I did vote for him! but at this stage of this fiasco I would believe SS over a reptile of the press like Hooper. Yesterday, he claimed that Brad Arthur was refused admission to the board meeting. Today, it was revealed that both BA and DA were at the board meeting which both addressed--this in SS`s message tonight.

I thought he mumbled like a two toothed, out of his LEAGUE, goon?
Seriously, if you didn't already think that maybe we need a chairman and CEO with some business nouse, serious business nouse at the top, you surely do now?
x2, i cringed the whole way through the interview.
Well I had no confidence in anything he said after he stated a contract of that magnitude needed to be ratified by the board but then went on to say he'd never seen the contract prior to June. It was bloody well signed in March so how was it ratified?
If this was High School Steve Sharp would get a pass mark for his effort and probably a "C +" for his execution. Body language says a lot about a man and Steve has copped a battering over the past few days and rightly so. If Foran walks it will be interesting to see how long he lasts as Chairman of the Board. If Foran signs a new revised contract he may just weather this current crisis.

and that's the thing - I have no doubt he is well intentioned....but simply unqualified for the job
perfect !!!........maybe a D or an E though
certainly not in the A Class.......more like hanging around the dunnies and having a smoke with his mates at recess...... LOL
lol good pick up GCeel.
Yes, have you? Only one of the contracts provided to the NRL was signed and only a signed contract can be ratified, guess which one that was.

Sorry for late rely. My computer has been down so I could not read the blogs that you mention. I read some thing in the SMH on that but not enough to draw any conclusion.
I don't expect him to be a public speaker.
