When was the last time we got a repeat set or made a break from the centre of the field? Well I can't remember!
We appear to lack composure or creativity to get repeat sets, last night Souffs had plenty, and the only time we were likely to get a repeat set was when the ball hit the uprights. We basically shift the ball to the edges to make breaks and that's why most conversions are from the sideline!
Has anyone seen any sort of plays to generate breaks thru the centre lately? Well I haven't..
Finally we have a decent forward pack on the park but are missing Gower and Edwards, both ball playing forwards, but someone should be following Ma'u, Pauli and Paulo as they can offload the ball. That in itself can create breaks.
What we need urgently is a fullback, experienced or novice, but experienced would be better and a creative half, Sandow is more creative than Kelly, and a goal kicker! A lack of a goal kicker has cost us 4 points so far this season
Come on BA get something going or is he keeping it simple as we just don't have the players?

So what has that to do with this blog?
Yesterday's game goes to show that the above statement isn't true at all. Sandow didn't make a difference to goal kicking and he did his same usual mistakes. As much as it pains me to say it, kelly is the better option for the rest of the year.
I'm choking down a bit of vomit saying this but Kelly didn't have too bad a game last night.
it was pouring rain last night and we played well.
we missed a couple of goals and Sandow made a mistake on the line at the death.
the rest of the game we played pretty well.
we played for thw whole 80 mins last night and got done by a mistake which you could put down to the wet
the creative juices need to start flowing
We got a repeat set when Kelly knocked on and Souths then knocked on straight away.
