Diamonds
1. Game plan to use the backs as forwards. Early in the game all the backs, including the halves, took the ball up and took the early sting in the game which allowed our forwards to maintain their energy throughout. Master stroke by BA
2. Attacking game plan. Brilliant
Coal (diamond which cannot handle the pressure)
1. Fifth tackle options. Atrocious. Do they actually practice this stuff in training? From what I see on the field I would think not. Why would Sandow be proud of himself kicking the ball into touch in the first few minutes! its not like the boys were tired. We are a skillful team and this deficiency is not as obvious, but if we want to go deep in the finals we need to build pressure which means somehow trying to get repeat sets of six. From what I can see, this is the only huge gap we have in our game. This has been an issue all year our skillful attack has masked it
2. Decision making on the fly. What was Hayne, in broken play, and Sandow with a minute to go thinking! Do not get me wrong, these two players are awesome and i would not swap them for anyone, but Haynesy did it in the Origin game as well, he pushed the ball in broken play when he should have taken the tackle. Chrissy, what an enigma, but after a stroke of genius in kicking off and getting the ball back with 50 seconds to go ......HOLD the FRIGGEN ball and take the tackle....the set would have closed the game out for us.

Agreed, defensively Sandow was great.
