Both were terrible last year. They finished 2nd and 3rd last in '21. Now look at them! They have managed to get their shit together, change the attitude of the players, play smart footy, play with resilience and build something special in less than a year that we haven't been able to do in over 36!

So far they have hardly done no more then what we did in these years below
1996 (13th) to 1997 (3rd)
2004 (12th) to 2005 (minor premier)
2008 (11th) to 2009 (runners up)
2016 (14th) to 2017 (4th)
2018 (Woden spoon) to 2019 (5th).
Mate, you are forgetting the years they won premierships over the last 36 years and we haven't.

My reply had nothing to do with premierships because you never mentioned premierships. You was talking about turn around so I was purely replying to you comments about the turn around.
Plus I knew exactly what you was referring to and pretty sure I replied in kind.
I mentioned and gave examples where we also turned it around quickly and said so far they have done no more then what we did in those years we turned it around.
At the moment there quick turn around means didly squat as it did for us.

Na, it doesn't annoy me. I wasnt haven't a go at Browny. I like a good fact and stat. However, the fact remains, we haven't approved over many, many years and yet 2 bottoms teams from 2021 are sitting pretty in second and the other in sixth fighting for a top 4 spot.
But Browny, help me out, give me some facts to explain this ...
Why can they improve drastically in less than 12 months and we can't even improve incrementally? I'd argue on paper we have a better team. Yet, in the last 3 years our position on the ladder has slipped. Our for and against is worst too. Some facts please.

Think you're over thinking it mate. Simple, we haven't got any better over the years. Most top teams should. We are anomaly. My frustration is that the Cowboys/Broncos have approved more than us in 1 year than we have in many and are in a better position on the ladder.

I'd accept the loss to the Roosters if we were sitting in second place. I'd swap positions in a heartbeat. Cows will be in the top 4 confidently. We may just scrape into the 8.
