yeah same we need a good centre
At this stage, who knows what to believe.
You hear one minute that Champion has signed, only to hear the complete opposite the next minute.
The innuendo of it all, not just in this case though, is driving us all crazy.
Have to agree with the possibility of targeting Farrell NK.
He looked quite impressive in the few opportunities he got towards the end of this season.
ok i dont know if this helps but i messaged Beau's good friend today to ask him if its true, he said that rabbitohs are trying to offload him but Russell Crowe wants him to stay as he is a Souths Junior. He has not signed with Parra and unless someone throws the mega bucks at him he is not planning to leave the Rabbitohs. HTH guys.

Nothing against you it allways a mate never a name there also a rumor on the www.zerotackle.com.au about Beau Champion signing with parra for 2 to 3 years.
Note that the key word is 'rumor'.
The way I see it, it comes down to this. If a club was to approach Champion and offer $300k a year, he would ask for a release and Souths would probably grant it because they're swimming in outside backs and they need to make more room for Inglis.
Would Parramatta pay $300k for Champion when they would likely be expecting Loko to be a first grader by next year, and Reddy is kind of part of the furniture and a good value, solid centre. Sure it makes sense for this year, but Champion will be looking for a three-year contract on good money and it could even cost you Loko's signature down the track.
Hence a player like Whatuira who is likely to be happier with a shorter term deal, on less money to me makes more sense.
