  • i would say we lose even with the origin players out

  • The moment Refs start penalizing Storm as they do to other teams, Storms will never win again.

They lay all over the ruck, push and shove, and never get called on anything.
    • X 100
    • You're aware that the Storm are currently the most penalised team in the comp (followed by us)?
      • It really depends where the penalties are given on the field, and what time during the game that affects the results and changes the momentum and also how many the opposition teams receive in the same game. Last night the Eels received no penalties in the 2nd half at all. It's obvious the refs or the powers that be wanted a Bulldogs victory but thank goodness the Eels held the line for 30 minutes in the 2nd half.
    • Melbourne trust their goal line defence so they purposely give penalties away in that vicinity.
They might of conceded the most penalties but you will find a lot of them come in clumps
  • Parra winning the comp would be huge for the NRL, better than Storm better than Cowboys better than any other outcome, look at the support we had in 09 but did that give us the rub of the green from the refs, no fucking way. If the NRL was smart and they really wanted to beat soccer and AFL in western Sydney they would give us a gentle nudge towards a title.
  • Melbourne will win by 50 next week even without the origin players

  • The Storm have been favourites for the Premeirship for awhile. The Storm get added help from the referees and the Broncos were without a few players as well. I wouldn't be too concerned about the game next week, I reckon the Eels might just cause an upset, just hope Norman doesn't get picked for Origin 3
  • Agree storm should win the comp.

But if we cant beat them next week with their big guns out we dont deserve to be in the 8.
