  • More likely he will get a section 10. Guilty, no conviction recorded.

Not sure what the ramifications will be for the team. Maybe miss out on a week or two. Hopefully not.

    • Nope conviction proven and more importantly in regards to his future life prospects it was also recorded.

It is my understanding that his defence tried to argue against a recording but failed.

Im no expert but this may affect his future earnings because he cant use the "if i dont get paid enough i will play in england" line because (and as i said i am no expert) he may struggle to get a visa clearance to work in england.
  • What's the difference between Norman pleading guilty to a first time offence (legally speaking) and the Souths player (Auv'a) who tested positive for recreational drugs but was given a fine and allowed to play (he has now tested positive twice and got a ban of some length)? The NRL's first strike policy basically gives a player a free pass (except the fine) playing-wise by not reporting the first strike. Just because Norman's first strike is known, why shouldn't he get that same luxury of a playing-related free pass?
PS: will leave to lawyers what the normal penalty is from the court
    • I think being Criminal charges they are treated differently by the NRL Prof.

I would expect a pretty hefty fine from club and/or NRL and probably time on the sideline.

"Bringing the game into disrepute" and all of that PC wank fest material.

I mean look at the Sharks - when that investigation finished they suspended Gallen for the ENTIRE off season and ONE game I think

  • Prob Gone for the year. phkn clown. Is this club šhït magnet or what
  • Think with his porn buddy seggy going overseas and these latest embarrassed episodes think BA will read the riot act to Corey and will be on his chance
  • Possession if different to use. Did he fail a drug test?
  • Guilty of possession, not sure of guilty of taking or selling. Is there a difference? Who knows! It's in the hands of the NRL now and we all know how that's going to turn out.

Did anybody read about a state of origin player that was also caught by a security guard at a Brisbane nite spot last origin. He was told to throw them out, nothing more of it. This is the way it should be reported, without the drama. Corey Norman sex tape... Again it should have reported as. "Who the player that has made a sex tape & people are trying to sell it?" We have all read leaks like that. But if it includes a Parra player, they name them straight away!!!
  • $400 and section 10 so no conviction. So it basically didn't happen lol
  • I think you're allowed to do drugs and still play. Unless you end up in jail or something like that.
