Corey Norman for captain

Before this idea gets lynched, who elseMannah does not strike me as having the strategic thinking or competitive nature to be captainWatmough has not been here long enoughHoppate maybe a good choice but he seems a bit quietPeats has the competitive nature and leads well by example but not sure about him being the best person to talk to refs or be a wise headAlso Corey will be out there for 80 min unlike a forward-Of course the downside is that if he keeps playing like last year he should not be playing for 80 min

  • Then who?
    Captain America?
Actually Gower might be good if he was on the field enough
  • I think you should give it to Sandow. The responsibility will really mature him
    • Lol
That is twice as stupid as giving it to Corey
I guess it will be Peats or Watmough
    • At least sandow has a go and tries to win. Normans stay at parra won't be long lived.
    • You want Sandow to be a leader. In fact you need him to be a leader. He may not be great defensively but he does bring the team together.
when he fires the team lifts, whether it was a shoulder charge on a prop or a 40/20, sandow is an inspirational leader.
if you look at other halfback captains like Alfie Langer, thurston and Sterling. They all started off as enigmas like Sandow and then captaincy made them greater
  • Agreed- not a great idea but one of the better options
  • We were a leaderless team since Cayless retired. Now I think we've got a couple in Watmough and Peats. I don't care how long a player has been at the club. Remember, Gibson handed Steven Edge the captaincy in his first season at the club.

  • I agree. Watmough and or Peats.

  • Peats or Choc for mine, Mannah isn't a captains arsehole.

"Pezet had 3 runs, 5 kicks, 2 errors, and 3 try assists. Let's be frank, two of his try assists were fluke kick/regather efforts by others and his try a fluke kick/regather by himself. Ryles played possum about what he has to work on in the press…"
