Corey Norman contract offer

Channel 7 news just now has said Corey Norman has been offered a 3 yr deal to play with the Panthers worth $1.8M, was said he has knocked it back.

The feelers start, time for the Eels to get into the contract debate, #1 priority extension & upgrade for BA,   #2 is for him to put to the club those off contract players he wants to keep. These are priorities & should be completed at least before next months AGM, or more so before the NRL hands down its decision on the termite affects.

  • Common sense would suggest that if we table a decent offer he will stay. Everyone can see the potential in his partnership with Foz and it should ensure Norman's game keeps improving.
  • Well a strong Eels is a together Eels.
  • I agree Frankie.
  • Of course he will knock back their offer, our TPAs are just too good.

    Too soon?

  • Norman needs to be locked up long term.

I can honestly say that its been a while since Ive seen a 5/8th with so much potential in the Eels #6 jersey.

Its a pleasure to call him ours and it would be crazy to let him walk.

    • Pretty harsh Frank. I don't think he has even been arrested yet!
  • Would you rather play with foz or Jamie "I hurt my vagina again" Soward it's a no brainer. Panthers must have a clever accountant to have Moylan, Martin, Soward think Wallace might be on the outer again with the hook.
  • we wont to start to resigning players now before its to late like Paulo

"I did modern day as 1998 onwards as I didn't see them play, as some here haven't. Where I believe majority of people here have seen all the modern day players play.
Plus it frees up some spots like we all know who 5/8 will be but now no idea."
