Cordner out for 3 months

The Roosters are having an incredibly painful offseason.First they let go of Jennings so that they could have enough cap Space to re sign Cordner. Then the Pearce incident happens and now just 2 days after they have re signed Cordner, he does his Pectoral muscle and is out for the next 3 months minimum. You would have to think their chances of missing the 8 now are pretty high

  • Lost their fullback, strike centre, both halves and one of their best second rowers in a few months. Still have a great pack but the spine and backline suddenly lacks a bit of experience and potency.
    • Losing RTS, Pearce, Maloney, Jennings and Cordner and the possibility of losing SKD. I dont know where they will get any points from this year.
  • Btw, Roosters are currently paying $3 to miss the 8.
I put $100 on it.. good value on that
  • No sympathy here, fek em.

  • Yeeee haaaa
  • Good news for us.

  • Lol Cordner only tore his peck trying to carry all the brown paper bags he got after re-signing the other day.

As they say, Couln't happen to a nicer bunch of c u next Tuesday's.

  • Couldn't have happened to a better team.

I hope the Rorters get the spoon.

  • Pearce will come back fighting for his career, focussed and with no soo distraction
They still have a great pack - even without Cordner
They still have strike power in the outside backs if their ESL and rookies bring their form to the NRL

They are still top eight easy without further loses but don't have the depth to stay top eight if they get more injuries

If I was the coach I would be hoping for a quick exit from the 9s
    • Here's an idea...when Parra plays the Feather Dusters, someone bring a stuffed dog to the game and just when Pearce is about to tackle or whatever someone throws the dog on the field and watch Pearce quickly dry hump it on the paddock!
