After we get bundled out this year and things go pearshaped and Barrett takes over as caretaker. Is there any love for reaching out to Cooper Cronk as a Head Coach possibility or should I just go back under my Rock.

Almost anyone in Rugby League is better than BA at this rate.
Can't see Cronk steppng away from Media. Why would he want to be a Coach? If anything, he's more likely to be a Trainer/Halves Coach. Not a full-time head coach. As far as I know, he's already a Halves Coach for Roosters and Melbourne.

The cap is a farce and the clubs like Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane will always have a leg up due to corporate sponsorship. If It was the old days under Fitzgerald or Bullfrog Moore... then ?
The only way the NRL can keep the comp somewhat competitive is do as the AFL has done with the draft. Look at the EPL.. a great spectacle ... but a spectacle nevertheless !

No doubt he's thrilled weve just got Barrett in to head our attack, the guy who had full reigns of the dogs attack, who struggled to score one try a game and got the spoon.
He could have got Potter, the guy who got that same attack scoring plenty of tries as soon as he came in, but no, we went for the bloke who made the mess and clearly showed with his selections and attack he is a total joke.

People need to remember there's more to being an NRL coach than just being good at commentating or being a great ex player. Cooper Cronk isn't the first ex smart great player who could dissect a game , many before him have had a crack at coaching and been totally fucking useless. In fact , not too many great players have made very good coaches. Probably why he chose a gig in the media , because he's not a natural coach.
