Thought there was a rumor Roosters want him retired at the end of the year?

If true is there any chance we can get him?

IMO we are just missing a half back and a good smart captain who knows when to hold and when to fold.

Cronk fills both these holes.

      Looks like our middle forwards will be fixed next year.

      we have good edge forwards and backline

      just need a smart halfback

    Cronk has also had good forward packs in front of him and Melbourne/Easts. Would he have the same impact with the worst forward pack in the competition?.

      next year we will have a good forwards pack

      But we still dont know how to play smart and be professional and clinical

    I think after a decade of being shit a club gets a bit of a reputation like we certainly have of not being good. Good players like cronk will have many options,  theyll tend to pick a club were they will be successful. I think a better plan for fixing our situation will be A) sack BA. B) find a coach good players want to play for Bennet etc C ) then hope we can sign some good players ... I don't think C) happens without a) & B) coming first

"Big motor for a big bloke. It's the same with Tuivaiti, they both seem to keep coming with the ability to play big minutes. They'd both have to be 115kg plus. Not sure who the conditioning coach is but he's doing a good job on these young blokes."
