  • It's a 10 day cooling off period at the moment but teams cannot announce the signing unless it's confirmed
    • True, the player and club has to wait until the 10 day cooling off period has elapsed before making any announcement.

  • THERE IS NO LONGER A COOLING OFF PERIOD, once a player signs that's it, the cooling off period was abolished this season.
  • Players switching clubs will no longer be able to have a change of heart after signing on the dotted line, with the NRL and RLPA agreeing to scrap the controversial 10-day cooling-off period for new contracts.
