Just listening to SEN radio, Michael carayannis has confirmed eels HQ are in negotiations with the Moses camp to remove the options for 27/28 and extend his contract for another year
This is great news and gives Jason Ryles, the club some certainty and the ability to plan salary cap wise for next 3/4 years

Micky one thing on Michael carayannis, he's a good guy and totally unbiased towards any team. He's a dragons fan, but treats everyone with respect, unlike the clown Hooper, who is always put in his place when carayannis is on 360.
Agree Chief, MJ is pretty balanced and with no agrenda unlike Hoops - he loves having a dig at every opportunity.
Caryannis is straight shooter and calls others out. Another who gets a bad rap is Read. Only issue with Read is in regard to Queensland but he's not too bad.
I actually like Ready, I don't put him in the Scumbag Journo bucket, Caryannis is okay too.
Read was one who went on about how BA's time is up. Now he didn't like how they sacked him and basically made him and others look stupid by going behind his back when they said the club wouldn't do that, but i like Brent Read, he doesn't talk down to people also, he just seems like a bloke in a pub telling you what he has heard.
Hooper though walks in like he owns the joint, Buzz is just an idiot these days. He does strike up a good comment or two, but hey a broken clock is right twice a day and a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. Dave Riccio is another i do not mind. They do a podcast for DT and it is pretty good; Caryannis, Read and Riccio. Hooper is too busy bullying Maroon at Triple M.
Yeah, agree 100% about Ready and Riccio.
You can tell Hooper is the gronk that got teased in High School by everyone and now has that chip on his shoulder trying to prove to everyone that he was cool. He's just trying was too hard, you can smell his desperation.
Buzz Rothfield is just an old man from a different generation. I enjoy watching him as he he has a good point every now and again, but I rarely agree with his takes. He has definitely had a long and established career in the game, so as an old timer he gets a bit of respect from me for his service, whether it's good or bad. I like that he can have a laugh at himself too.
I thought they would add an extra year, making him 35 at the end of his deal. I mean Ben Hunt is 37 this year and still plays well at a high level. Although the way it is written could mean they get rid of his 2027 & 2028 deals, only having 2027? I don't like that to be fair if the case.
Maybe add an extra $100-150k a year too for 27' and 28'
Yep, and reading between the lines, one way or another we'll fix the Brown problem too. Surely this hasn't taken a rookie coach to work this out?
I think it has LE
