Seems like all everyone is concerned about is every possible signing's defence ...maybe IDG can play half. At least he can tackle.
But back to the original question, IMHO Watson would be a good pick up. Has had FG experience this year and done OK. Should only get better.
Played 12 games. Made 144 tackles and missed 15. But has 26 tackle breaks, 6 linebreaks, 5 try assists and 3 tries.
Watson is a good talent but he's a running half. He doesn't have much in terms of creative play-making skills or direction. With Pearce running the show at the Roosters, Watson takes the line on and goes to the line often.
We need a bit of a director when it comes to the halves alongside Norman. Someone with a good kicking game, that can lead the side around and take control, allowing Norman to target opposition defences with his own running game.
Roosters are now in a position of 4 halves. Can see them letting 1 go, which can only be Watson or Hastings.
Keary has just signed and Pearce in contract and their leader.
waaaaaaayy too small for hooker
Looks like a pass
We have signed a goal kicking half, why is everybody writing this guy off? I'm sure BA, and Fogarty himself, signed to play NRL. Its up to him now to prove he is of NRL standard, and he isn't afraid to tackle.
