Congratulations to Usman Khawaja for a brilliant innings at the Gabba. It's great to see Usman take advantage of his second chance for the Australian cricket side. It's surely the first time an Australian Muslim has scored a tonne wearing the baggy green and fantastic that multiculturalism can be embraced and celebrated at the highest level in Australian sport.I know that sometimes there's a few islamaphobes that participate in this forum but I'm sure even they can agree that this is an example that you can't always paint everyone with the same brush.Special mention to Dave Warner too.

He's Aussie first and foremost WMD. religion has sweet nothing to do with it. And who cares. One flag, one country and one culture mate - Australian and if it's not first, then people should leave. But you've baited us well.
If he and the batsman can bat against the poms in England and Sth Africa in Durban etc and India on a Bunsen burner in Chennai, then we will be world beaters.
"I know where you are coming from Daz, I have always seen the same attributes.
Its interesting to see that Warrington (to my understanding) did not offer a contract, surprising given the attributes you noted.
I first saw Matto playing a Reserve Grade…"

Ussie played well. He fell short of the dreaded double hundred, ensuring that he would not get dropped next test.
