Hello Folks,
Let me please congratulate you on another Wooden Spoon. What an achievement, the Spoon is back where it belongs in the now bursting full wooden cabinet stationed in the wooden run down creaky corridors of the Eels leagues club.
The spoon is back home where it is most loved and deserved, this is the 14th time it has returned home, that is some record. The Eels are champion losers and perennial under achievers, this spoon is befitting of such a dire, hapless and gutless team such as the Parramatta Eels.
Please do enjoy your enormous amount of cutlery that you have collected over the years. Your demise and sustained failure over a long period has been a pleasure to watch. The false hope for the Eels fans at the start of each season that fades away quicker than another Eels loss is both predictable and a joy to see play out.
Good luck next season playing out of the new Western Sydney Wanderers Stadium. I wish you sustained failure.
