Perhaps this was final straw and thought this would be last year anyway as no other clubs showing interest."

yes and what a shame that is, thought the new board was about moving forward, not repeating mistakes of the past, i will be watching salary cap news with interest in 2018, will have enough time as i wont be watching my eels of fifty years while hayne is in the team
Salary cap news?
But Arthur added in respect to the criticism: “It is alright to say go and buy a front-rower but there needs to be a front-rower available.
“And what they also need to know is that we still have money for a front-rower.
“If we didn’t keep money last year and just went and threw it around on anybody we wouldn’t have got Mitchell Moses.
“And maybe we wouldn’t have finished fourth, I don’t know.
“But we have money there for the right person when they come around.
“We only have 28 players in our squad.
“We still have two spots available.”
That means no player will be forced out due to Hayne’s return.
What exactly will you be looking for?
The good news I take it.
What gives you the right to be talking sense....Mushy.....you silly old bastard.
The person you are responding too has been (he say's) a parra supporter for 50 years.....I can' believed he has lived that long.
I've been a Parra supporter since 1966 and the administration we have at the moment is the best we've ever had. Max Donnelly is doing a fantastic job bringing a stability we haven't had for decades. He has gone on the record saying bringing Jarryd Hayne back to the club would be worth looking at. Well he looked at it and felt it worth a shot but apparently you know more about the salary cap situation at Parra than he does and your judgement is superior to his also. Threatening to not watch an Eels game while he is in the team is as absurd tantrum I've heard an adult put on in a long time. I hope, and think it highly possible, that Hayne can be a big success next year leading to a contract extension for up to another 3 years. You might be missing a lot of Parra games if you have the courage of your convictions. Hayne never had his heart in it at the Titans and I think he has a passionate love for the Eels like most people here do. He'll be highly motivated because this will be the last chance he gets at redemption. Good luck, Jarryd, we're hoping you get back close to your best!!!
