Fox Sports has done their own pressure gauge for each NRL coach. BA got 'Walking the tightrope' rating. Pretty much on the hot seat. I think that is a fair claim after 11 seasons. Though if he makes top 8, he is safe. If he finishes 9th or 10th i think he will be also. But i think it is fair to have him on this ranking. Though will say that come round 10 do not be surprised that he is to be extended based on form.

I think that Brad Arthur would have to have an extremely dismal year to see him replaced. I think the board, CEO and the players like consistency and familiarity too much over much else. As long as they make the 8 he will be ok
I think a big thing with it all is the board would want a clear target in mind before moving on. If there is a certain coach they want and feel they can get they will move BA on.
Though the article is right in that it will be a mutual parting of ways if it is to end.

No, he comes into calculations because he has won a premiership in the English Super League and has won a premiership in the NRL.
Compare that to BA who only has a wooden spoon on his resume.

He is coach of a team that were grand finalists last year and should have been pushing for another top 4 spot - we finished outside the 8. I don't think whoever wrote this article had anything else in mind regarding BA.
Brads last season, 12 is way too generous. Short of a GF, he is gone. The club is best to announce a new coach early in the year to stop the Fox media propaganda, wish Brad all the best for the season and support him.

Making a grand final takes a lot of luck, so it's an unrealistic KPI. 15 NRL coaches failed to achieve it this year, and only four coaches have achieved it in the past three years.
