You will well know my opinion of Arthur. I don`t care if they make him COY for the next twenty years after to-days performance. His record of getting teams up for an important game was zero up to today but to- days game changes that. The players were magnificent one and all. I have been watching the Eels since 1949---more years than the age of most of you! I cant recall a better performance by the Eels. It was magnificent. I now think Bank West Stadium has played a big part in the games where the Eels scored big amounts. Who wants to pay a million dollars for Fifita and co now?! We get Evans back next week and we need his size. If we can play like today we will have some chance of a win. The refereeing will be vital.

Robert, I admire your honesty here. Great day today.
And there are probably been few supporters on here that have followed the Eels since 1949. Kudos.
Slugg and Poppa might be the exceptions - following the Eels since Cumberland's entry in 1908. ;)
And didn’t the ladies love the snake once you unleashed it.
Slugg : I am not admitting to anything. If I might explain. The game and the result were so exceptional that the coach must be given some credit for bringing that about. How much credit I can`t say. Some of the players and the media-Fox etc-are putting it down to Bank West and the spectators. If the coach does get Coach Of The Year, partly because of that result, so be it. It was an exceptional event. I have not changed my opinion of coaches in general or in Brad Arthur in particular. Can I say this. The Eels are in sight, distant though it may still be, of a Grand Final appearance. Do it now, do it this year. This is the year! Don`t say we will do it next year because we don`t know what tomorrow will bring let alone next year. Let this be the year.
Is that a smile robert? Yay!!
Well said Robert and like you I’m enjoying some humble pie (along with a jimmys kebab)
Well done to all involved tonight was up there with 2001 and 2009, 80’s too far to remember and too young to enjoy properly
