  • Will probably go to Ivan Cleary.

  • If we make a good show in the finals, i think BA is a shoe in.

@Ham i agree Cleary is a contender, but if we go close i think BA. Only because BA has made an instant difference in his first year. Cleary has had a couple of years to put his team together.

    • Agree Waterboy. It's only half way through the season and it's still a little early to say for sure who should be coach of the year. However, if Parra continue to do well, BA will be in with a good chance to get coach of the year. Cleary has had more time to put his structures into place. Plus, BA has had more rookies/less experienced players to coach. IMHO, BA has done a better job this year, considering he inherited a big mess at the start of the season and a team who 'won' consecutive wooden spoons.
  • Mick potter would have to be a smokey
  • Stephen Kearney because his 5 year Plan is starting to take shape.........

  • And only 8th on the table cause of a rubbish points differential. What a turn around. But it all means nothing if there is no trophy in the cabinet.
  • There are only 2 candidates as far as I'm concerned. Brad Arthur and Ivan Cleary. If we make the top 8 though, there is no doubt Arthur deserves it!
  • Consistency is a big thing in Rugby League.

For that reason, Ricky Stuart must win.  He's been doing the same thing over and over for years - and at different clubs!

    • Bahahahah. In that case RS wins hands down. No discussion needed!

"I think the disappointing part for Pensini was the poor defence last week against Melbourne. Yes everyone was shit. But he missed a one on one tackle for Leo to score. He also got burned in the frist half by Leo but Iongi saved the day."
