Gees, how does the NRL come up with this draw. Yes, if we want to be premiers, we have to be good enough to beat everyone and I stand by that. That said, gees, how to do they come up with these draws?
We currently sit at 7 on the ladder but our for and against is 145 less than the Storm in position 6.
Our final rounds for 2022:
Broncos, Panthers, Eagles, Rabbits, Dogs, Broncos and Storm.
All top eight teams aside from the dogs. Really makes the losses against the lower teams from our team, bite even harder when you see this and what those losses could potentially do to our final result.
We have a bloody tough road ahead just to have a decent win percentage, make the eight and then have to elevate again to compete in the finals!
Are we up to it?

I see four team in the race for 6-7-8 position Eels Rabbits manly Roosters
28 points is the target but any team that finishes even with us will finish in front of us.
I am really worried that our PD is going to sting us. The very reason we need to drive the nail in on wins and stop taking the foot off the pedal at crucial times.
how you been travelling EE? you been ok mate?
I see your point, but also see that could work both ways.
Would rather half and half.
Penrith, Wests, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Newcastle.
Bit like that or 2 good teams, a bad one, two good etc.
Can't finish top 4 too hard
If we can't beat these teams now, we can't beat them in the finals. This is a great run home to get battle hardened if we're up to the task.
Given the squeeze at the top of the table the more of these teams we face the better because a win is essentially a 4 point win (2 points for us, and 2 points they don't get).
This is a great run home if we're good enough. And if we aren't good enough, who cares about the draw cause we weren't going to win it all regardless.
This is time of the season was when we faltered last year.
Let's see if the coach has learned anything from that...
I think we finish 7th or 6th - F/A will cruel us unfortunately.
Would love somebody to post F/A stats for the team over the past 9 years. No matter where we finish the season on the ladder .. even in the top 4, our differential is always dog shit. I usually go off that rather than ladder position to gauge the teams real form.
Bert, Interesting you say that. Synchronicity. Just last night I looked into F/A P/D (points differential) of all the legitimate NRL premiers. There's something in what you're saying, imo.
Sorry, it's not exactly what you asked, and not Parra (try to do later). Just had this handy off a spreadsheet.
History keeps showing we've still got a long way to go. Plenty of red flags in other areas too.
