If anyone knows one person on the entire planet who thought Billy Slater was man of the match, then please let me know. Adam Blair was so clearly Melbourne's best player it wasn't funny. I would of copped Cooper Cronk or Ryan Hoffman. I would have even only had a minor bitch if it was Greg Inglis or Cameron Smith. The only player who should have been in question with Blair was Moimoi. Absolutely disgraceful.

I agree. Fui was best on field.
I wonder if the Churchill was a done deal before the game commenced.

I'm really annoyed that the Storm were allowed to lie all over the play the ball tonight. They may be the champions of pushing the rules as far as they can to win competitions but as far as I'm concerned (to semi-use an old cricketing quote) "there were two teams out there tonight and only one of them was playing footy".

Worst decision in the history of the CCM. Even Slater was embarassed to win it. Cooper Cronk, Adam Blair or Fuifui were much more deserving winners. I personally wouldn't have had Slater in the top ten of best players.

The only reason Slater got the MOM is because the selectors want him at fullback and Hayne on the wing. It did help that Slater was better than Hayne on the day but he certainly wasn't the best on ground!

Cooper Cronk deserved it, 2 try assists, 1 linebreak, always looked threatening and did his job in defence....Slater....what a joke!
