  Absolutely Jeffrey, I totally agree. I love this song and to hear it played as they run out would be inspiring and get the crowd pumped.
  In the eighties it was played all the time and it was great to hear the crowd sing along, it always sent a shiver up my spine.

  Its better suited to a barn dance and should be scrapped imo, its as bad as sweet Caroline, i want some pumping rock Jeff.

  Nostalgia aside, its a dud song. Ditty clichéd melody from the woolsheds and clumsy awkward words. Ought to be a competition for a new tune and new words, to go with the new stadium.

  Terrible song. Was terrible in 1997 when I started going to games and it's terrible now. The Audio quality literally sounds like it was recorded in 1920.
  
  I hope it disappears or is replaced by the time we return to our home in 2019.
  
  Agree with Snake that Paradise City should be our run on song, pumped up high with some pyro/fireworks

  Fair enough mate, heritage is important and i respect the song means a lot to you, its just never really grabbed me, I'm all for it to be played some time after full time along with a few others.

  I will say when they used to do sweet caroline, it was a freaking embarrassment, just sounded terrible and was just lame and sad, it made me want to hurt somebody really badly.
