Christmas period rules

I am currently in Queensland enjoying some precious time with the family as I am sure many of you will do over the next few weeks.

For some reason almost every year over the Xmas period I found myself (or else other mods are dropped with the responsibility of acting on my behalf) as various blogs go over the top on new football issues.

So I've decided based on the discussion about the deleted blogs just to put in a very simple rule of Xmas goodwill. From today and until January 8 when I get back to work any discussions about religion are not allowed. The holiday season is a chance for all to be with their family, enjoy good cheer and for many to worship as they see fit.

I am also going to ask all to ease up on the interpersonal argy bargy. Take the opportunity just to be nice to one another for a few weeks.

I don't think this is too much to ask for so as to allow myself and the mods to enjoy our respective time with our families. We will just deal with any breaches will suspensions until the Xmas period is over.

Youre not attempting to take jesus Christ and all the goodness out of Christmas are you Phil?

This reminds me of when dept stores ban nativity scenes, its very disturbing because theres nothing more about christmas that i love than a quality nativity scene.

Feels like youre ripping the heart out of christmas Phil and making it a very shallow affair all about presents and getting off your face, im more traditional, the religious aspect of christmas is very important to me.

This is the first time ive ever heard anybody ban the talk of religion at Christmas time in Australia, its very disturbing, first SSM, now this.

A current affair and Alan Jones should be tipped off about this.

I drew these as a child, who would have imagined that in 2017 Religious talk at christmas would be banned and seen as a no go zone at 'Christ'mas?

Its very disturbing as we are seeing the erosion of everything our cultures built on.

Im having to pinch myself to believe this blogs true, its absolutely gutting, Phils just literally ripped the heart out of our Lord and Christmas, feels like christmas is over now.
