  It's a rumour at this stage.
  I'd treat it that way religiously until it is confirmed
  In fact, I'd do more than just that. I'd ignore any mention of Chris Walker to the Eels until he himself confirms that it's a done deal.
  He has said that when the dust has settled and the deal is done, he'll announce it on his Twitter as to which team he has signed with.
  
  The Panthers are chasing hard for him as they have plans to shift Purtell to the back-row, and an un-named QLD side are looking at him.

  footyboy 727 , i feel i speak for all eels fans in saying , he was once a good player , but no we dont want him . I would see this as a backstep to be honest . His skills would surely not be upto scratch ?.

  There's no guarantee that Orford will be at the Eels.
  He's more likely to head to the Raiders at this stage.

  Yeah, I saw him there.
  Was in the Parra area and Parra Stadium, and had a chat with one of the front office staff I know, and he walked in.
  Not sure for what, but obviously to have a chat with Ozzie, SK and all.
