Chris Smith on Haas and Carrigan

Chris Smith reported today that Haas is in talks with the Bulldogs, I mean come on! He also states Carrigan wants out and wants to move to a Sydney Club. His newsreader girlfriend is happy to move to Sydney. Interesting times for the Broncos if this is true!

        • of course Parra did dodgies with heaps of the players esp Hayne in his prime.....the unfortunate thing is we had dopes and fwits in the front office .....like Paul Osborne and Peter Sharp   didnt he self report some of the rorts ........

thats like driving pissed missing the RBT but reversing back through ..

    • Me to

  • Haas wont leave Qld.  He is 1 of 9 kids with both mum and dad in jail.  He takes care of the family and it means a lot to him.   A few siblings are still school aged and 1 just signed with Brisbane broncos development.  Fifita is on the out at Titans so possibly there as Haas lives closer to titans then broncos but I don't see him leaving Qld unless it is to be closer to extended family for support.  It would depend where they live.

I used to rate Carrigan but he is nothing more than a hard working forward now but watching his mic'd up episode on Fox Sports he is a good communicator on the field.  Not worth the big money on his performances this year or last.  He doesn't bend the line like he did previously or offer ball playing skills of other fowards.  I actually think broncos problems are related to money invested in their pack which is not delivering.  If we are poaching off Brisbane go for Staggs at centre.

    • Old Gus will pull some strings and have his mum transfer to Silverwater correction centre. Just a stone throw from Homebush stadium where he can visit after games.

His siblings will be put up at Laundy's Horse & Jockey Hotel on Parramatta road in Homebush, also down the road from the stadium and jail. Great accommodation and feed by the way... 😜

      • Maybe she'll end up Nico Hynes's mums celly ,  and smuggle in a few cartons of ciggies to get him to transfer to the Dogs also.

    • Carrigan is suffering burnout, it happens to many of the forwards. If Bronco's had half a brain they would be playing Carrigan at lock and lightening his load.

The balance of that side is askew and the flat track bullies like MAM are low skilled in setting up other players. Footie skills have been overshadowed by flashy players.

      • Yep they let guys like Farnworth walk so they could lure sign Walsh as an example.

They can't decide what Cobbo is there so heavily dependent on Haas & Carrigan in the fowards and they haven't found those guys who can offset there loads.

Dead right when using words like balance and askew that's the broncos to a tee.

      • Everyone's suffering burnout in Ploppas eyes. A few weeks back DylBoobs was suffering burnout 😂

        • Don't you worry about me Wizzy. I'm not burnt out .....went to an orphapeadic surgeon today, getting a whole new left shoulder......6 months time they will then do the right one.  You won't know me, I will be able to push you around for another 10 years or so.  Sharpen up Wiz, I am killing you at the moment.

No more sleep overs for 12 months.

"Well they (NSW) base their game plan around Mitchell Moses long kicking game, Strnage is a gun player but when we're in a tight grind and possession not going our way Moses can just kick us to a win with field possession."
