A few tweaks and things can change dramatically as we saw from our last two seasons.
Im not on the Parra death ride. I’ll predict that with only one or two more decent signings, anything can happen and we may even see a massive positive change to our fortunes.
100 footy are dick heads, gus is coaching penrith ,and will be in melboure tonight, and was in new zealand last game, so far he record not great lost 2 and 1 golden point win.
neil right, parra had a bad year and changes needed badly.
parra supports need to see buys now, wenty went down and are out, our top team are out this week, and our younger guys are hanging in there just...but made the top 8..
not a great look for brad , max , bernie, and our army of supporters ...
Top 4 lol - We would be spoon favorites again next year.
Our defence is horrible, as soon as any pressure is applied our defence crumbles. Simple decoys plays have our defenders bamboozled. The ball get shifted out wide and our wingers over commit, inside balls and our markers get caught out of position.
Our attack is just as bad, continued repeat sets we cant score. Our set plays are predictable. Even if our forwards are winning the battle, our halves and hooker cant come up with any reasonable attacking sequence other then throw the ball to Hayne or go for a glory kick.
We lose the majority of the ruck contest and find ourselves constantly on the back foot.
We give away stupid 4th tackle penalties.
We have a $800k centre who has only scored 6 tries.
Our fullback is constantly found out of position.
We probably have the worst forward pack in the comp.
We probably have the worst spine in the comp.
This is just a few of the issues we have - i doubt we're going to fix this.
CP I like the general direction of your list. The only possession based stat I’ve read recently is that we make the most tackles per game other than the Tigers, but it would be good to see some analysis based on completions, errors and penalties ceded. A lot of our losses this year were off the back of poor respect for possession but things you list would contribute to that - ie losing the ruck, poor spine. I also think a number of players are just error makers, they lack composure ( that’s somewhere up between the ears).Remember the first thing Wayne Bennett did when he took the Great Britain coaching role was slam Sam Burgess for his regular error making. Burgess is far better for it. But yeah, pack and spine need a big lift.
"I don't think they are as concerned about their reputations as some folk on here. I commented yesterday how good it is that it's all quiet since the beginning of November."
"Gucci, You can't find this article anywhere. I took quotes from The NRL Podcast (Episode 2, 19/11) that relate to the Eels (19th-26th minute) and added a bit of extra info and organized it.

CP nails it, this post will upset the Unicorn posse.
Facts terrify them.
