  I am waiting for another signing, will it be a centre, I think there is a good chance it will be.

  We have money, do we need halves, nope got that covered with 4 of them on the books.

  Hookers Covered got 3 of them now.

  Fullbacks  Covered got 2 of them now "unless hayne comes back early which would push gordon to centre or wing

  Wingers we have Semi and a couple of kids and I think we are still short 1 solid winger.

  Centres

  We have Takka Gutherson Morgan and Toutai. This is the one position 4 players is not enough as the left and right positions a specialist positions.

  I personally would like another solid signing here this way we could ease Gutherson back on the wing and have someone inside him who might be able to take the pressure off.

  The only option we have if we dont have a centre before kickoff is to play Scott there until Gutherson gets his confidence back as we have plenty of back row options and defence for Scott would not be an issue.

  Walker and Idris and Loko are the 3 players who can play centre  but Walker hasnt be pushed yet, Idris has gone walkabout and LOKO has gone off the radar. He still is young and has plenty to offer and a 1 year contract could be a good thing for him and the eels. Everyone deserves chances some more than others but its looking pretty bad for loko right now so why not offer him a basic contract and keep the cash for a mid season signing. There are many options but walker would be my 1st choice. Idris 2nd if he can get his shit together. 3 Loko  and at a very distant 4th not sure if he is even available INU.

  Hoppa is no longer contracted to Parra. I'm quite confident that it will be the Dogs but they may need to do some re-shuffling to fit him under the cap. I don't expect anything to be announced till they can work that out. I think that such an announcement will have more to do with that than his court case.
  As for our right side next year, I'm being patient right now.

  With the Raiders re-signing Bj Leilua I'd like us to see if Jack Wighton is available. He played fullback mostly this year but you'd think they'd want to move Rapana there next year and with that Sisa Waqa and Edrick Lee become the wingers with Leilua and Croker in the centres. There is an opportunity for us to sell him a definite starting position at right centre with room to move into fullback if he can prove that he can do it.
  
  We have the money, we have the starting position but would the Raiders be willing to give up a promising young player?

  Kalum Watkins ( current Pom Centre) or Hurrel (Warriors) could be considered.

    Hurrel doesn't want to leave the Warriors, and our strike rate with pommy players is atrocious.

  I doubt Wighton will ever leave Canberra when Ricky is at the helm. He has always fanboyed over him and threw big money at him when he had the gig here in 2013.

  Patience is required right now. We are only two weeks into the pre-season. There's a bit of time for things to play out.

  3-year deal for Wighton at the Raiders. 
  Deal is mostly wrapped up and they want it finalised before the season starts. 

  But I agree, Ham, if he was available, he'd be a good player to have.
