Centre Combinations

I have excluded Jennings coming to the Club so what about these combinations. Most people have Taka on the left with Gutherson on the right paired with either Morgan or Fariamo. Now to my mind of thinking that puts two players on the wing with not much flair. From what I have read Tuha is a dynamic runner but I have no idea of his defensive capabilities, same with Gutherson. Now pairing 2 inexperienced players together is fraught with danger.

My solution would be to pair Gutherson with Semi on the left and have Taka paired with Tuha on the right. That gives plenty of strike power right across the centre of the park.

It has been proven that Semi is lethal whoever is his centre, evidenced by him scoring 6 trys in five games with Morgan as his centre, someone not renowned for his passing ability. Taka, with his footballing nouse, is able to create space for his winger and a dynamic runner such as Tuha would have many opportunities and certainly knows his way to the try line. Taka is also reasonably confident in defence, although has his lapses, but generally does not leave his winger isolated. With Foran also defending on the right I am confident that that side will be more solid in defence than last year.

All this talk about Jennings he wont come to us no way he go to the sharks because

why would you leave Bondi beach for the city life

Good post Glenn. I agree, except I think the weaknesses that have kept Honeti Tuha out of first grade so far in his career won't be fixed over an off season. I reckon Faraimo and Toutai are ahead of him for a wing spot. Yes, Toutai.

  Toutai is rank. There is not one thing you can say to convince me otherwise. His only endorsement is that Brad sees something in him - but until I see it, at NRL level (not Wenty), he remains shit.

Who is Tuha?

That makes a complete joke out of signing Gutherson and Shulte.

Now I think it is Pou who has been banging on about Taka training on the right side so that opens the gate to all sorts of conjecture.

As long as Morgan is not inside Semi I will be happy.

What I would like to see is Taka and Semi stay together

On the other side we have the option of Gutho / Sgt Shultz / Morgan / Faraimo.

Shulte / Gutherson and Morgan can all play centre or wing.

Most likely combos IMO - haven't got a freeking clue because "the best coach in the business" is way in front of me for his brilliant decisions.
