We haven't filled our top 30 roster. And for us to really compete this year we need a quality centre. Who's out there and why are we not chasing some quality ? Unless part know something about Mennings but looking at his insta he doesn't look like he is footy ready. Thoughts!

You need 3 things - supply, demand and a desire to make a deal. You can't have one without the other./
We have a demand , but is there a supply of quality at the right price point (and do you know there is a salary cap???) ?
The boys that have posted have summed it up pretty well... Rocky is one of the smartest on here and his "market" explanation says it all.
Back to the problem itself, yes I agree a 100% as I do with Rocky's market.
The only person I can think of is Izzy and we all know the "issues" we have to meet to get there.
WE have missed the Morris boys, Staggs is going to stay in Qld (I reckon they could still be working that). Lomax the Saints centre really looks the goods, but there is no point in window shopping if nothing is for sale. Xerri will be back within a year or two (baggage there as well).
We do have Penisi coming through but after seeing him in Reserve Grade, he is at least a year away .
Maybe there are some Rugby players around.....Ramrada with some long term incentives comes to mind. We may not atract him in an initial price sense, but maybe there other incentives? His season has finished over there!
We're in the early stages of chasing a good young winger , not aware of us chasing centres.
