Captains Challenge

What the farken point of only allowing captions challenge for tries when they check them all anyways.

Its main need would be for general play!!!! Where all the bullshit refs mistakes happen and the bunker can't check.

Obviously his motivation for introducing  captains challenge for tries to save time which is a positive but the main this should be getting decisions correct.

    • Agreed but in 20's they could challenge calls during play but he's only allowing it for tries in 1st grade.
    • I think it's great. They use it in the NFL. I know they have more stoppages than League but it could still work. If you challenge unsuccessfully you get no more challenges.
    • Yeh but NFL you can use it for general play.
  • Nailed it Josh, my thoughts exactly.
  • Agreed. This seems like it might just waist more time. Of course a captains going to challenge if there's the faintest chance that the try might not be allowed. It's the one on one steels and drop balls that need to be challenged. These are the ones where the bunker is so inconsistent. Pulling up some and letting other blatant ones go.
  • First time I've seen Greenturds mug on months.
  • It's guess they doing it coz these refs go to bunker for everything. If so then why re-train the refs. They need remedial training it's gotten that bad. Half of them can't even get hand signals correct to signal what the penalty was for which basic 101 to ref properly.
  • Is this just to squeeze in another ad break or what.

  • I don't know how I feel about this trial, but I am over the amount of changes to the game.
They seem to change something each year....
I had to laugh the other day when the NRL said they'd gained 5-10 hours (may be wrong on this figure) in the game with the use of the shot clock. If people cannot see that scums, dropouts etc are still slow the NRL has to be kidding themselves. We watched at least three times on Monday a scrum waiting to be packed but players knowing that the shot clock wasn't down low enough. It's boring seeing players stand still and do nothing waits for a scrums etc.
    • Actually shot clock is good. We got an extra 10 hours because players were taking a minute and thirty seconds to pack the scru
scru, even longer in some cases. Same thing with drop outs, they were taking more than a minute and a half. Stop just hating on the NRL, don't like don't watch.
