CAPTAIN FOR 2017 AND THE FUTURE

I would like to put my faith and hope to Corey Norman as the new captain of the Eels for the future.

He is the man for the job...

  • Hi mate, i don't think id add that extra responsibility to his game to be honest, im not sure he's the best guy to deal with the refs either, id give the job to Scott but who knows, we might see him as captain some day.

  • I would like Scott as our captain and Norman to take over. If you watch some of the games, before he was suspended, you could see how loud he talks to the boys.
  • My pick would be.

    Scott (c)

    Norman (vc)

  • Scott
  • Scott did a great job when Foran left. I'd stick with Scott with Norman being groomed for the long term job later on.
  • You can still lead a team around without being Captain ! .... Sterlo didn't get a go until 1987 !

    • I like scott as captain too!! Love a strong , no frills leader
  • Corey's not ready for it yet. He's too immature off the field. He wouldn't be a good role model to the younger players. His antics this year have shown this to be true. If he settles down then maybe he could be a good captain.

  • I don't think we need to change from Scott being the on field Captain and Mannah being Club Captain.  If it is not broke don't change it.

  • I reckon Guth into the future. Great role model, our best trainer and just seems like he hates losing.
