16 rounds left, of which one of them is a bye.
Last year the cut off was 32 points, which means we have to win 11 games out 15 to be assured of a spot in the 8. Maybe be 10 wins will be enough but our for and against numbers aren't favourable right now.
Can we get on a run the same way as Newcastle did last year and save the season? I say no, what do you think?

Mathematically yes, realistically no chance
Not a chance.
We will be lucky to win another game this year and avoid the spoon.
No chance
Yes, and we will.
Can't see it Axel, but, I think we will go on a run later in the season when the pressure is off, a new coach has been announced, and that free mindset of knowing 2024 is over & you can enjoy the footy a bit more.
Feel like we jump into 10th or so & finish a game or two outside the 8.
We'll probably know this week with how the players react against Souths to whether we are any hope.
2 Byes left, yes we can. Will we? Unlikely. Unless Barrett is second coming of Jason Taylor.
Our fitness is a concern. Not sure who our strength and conditioning coach is but it isn't something that can be turned around overnight. Maybe with better bench rotation it will negate some of the fitness issues.
Were 2 games out of 7th place but due to for and against say 3 wins. It is definitely doable looking at the NRL ladder predictor and a favourable draw coming up. Cronulla is hardest game we have coming up but Hynes has origin coming up.
